Wokha, February 7 (MExN): District administration Bhandari along with departmental officers, civil societies and church leaders held a farewell programme in honour of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang at the Dobashi Court, Bhandari headquarter on February 7.
According to a DIPR report, the ADC, in his farewell speech highlighted some achievements which were executed through coordinated effort especially maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in and around the border areas of the subdivision, several initiatives for internal and external growth of people of the local areas and successfully containing and preventing Covid-19 pandemic in the subdivision on a war footing.
He also expressed hope that they would continue to support and extend cooperation to the incoming ADC.
SDO (Civil) Bhandari, Sulanthung Lotha, SDO, PHE Hukato Shohe, President Lotha Lower Range Public Organization (LLRPO) Head Dobashi Bhandari and others, who spoke during the programme, said the commendable contribution which the outgoing ADC has delivered by touching many areas of social and economic development would have a long-lasting positive impact.
The speakers also stated that the introduction of checking of Inner Line Permit (ILP), construction of marketing sheds and traffic island and introduction of compulsory computer training for administrative staff of Bhandari Headquarter are benefiting the people.
They thanked him for starting the Sub-divisional departmental monthly coordination meeting and the departmental sports week through which all the departments have come closer while delivering their service with trust and confidence.
In the programme, Associate Pastor Baptist church Bhandari, Zuchanthung Yanthan pronounced a prayer of blessings for the ADC.
APRO Bhandari, Lily Ngullie sang a special number and the programme was chaired by EAC Bhandari, Rohbi Sangtam.
