Farewell programme held for outgoing Kiphire DC

Kiphire, September 5 (MExN): Kiphire District Administration organised farewell programme in respect of outgoing Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, M Shayung Phom on September 4. The farewell programme was held at DC Office Conference Hall Kiphire.

 
According to DIPR report, the outgoing DC Phom said that with the cooperation of the three tribal bodies, he was able to bring some achievements.


He further encouraged the gathering to give their full support and cooperation to the incoming DC for further development in the district. He encouraged the three tribal bodies to unite and cooperate more for more development.


On behalf of the district officers, ADC Kiphire HQ Reny Wilfred, IAS; ADC Seyochung Japheth Woch; ADC Pungro, Zakabo V Rotokha; Helen Jamir, Principal Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire and Additional SP Kiphire, Tshurhosie Kajiri gave farewell speeches.


The officers in their speech expressed that the outgoing DC Phom is a good officer who can manage everything in balance. They said that he is a capable officer and under his guidance the district has been blessed.


He is a man of understanding and under his leadership Kiphire district has created a good team with tribal hohos, students’ bodies, NGOs which may not be known by many people individually. Under his leadership, the district has improved in law and order situation and Kiphire district wished him “the very best” on his new assignment.


The Tribal body under Kiphire - United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP), Eastern Sumi Hoho (ESH) and Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) expressed their satisfaction for keeping good law and order situation in the district during his stay.


The farewell programme was presided by Sangpangchang, EAC. Meanwhile the invocation prayer was led by Nyampo Wallim SDO (C) HQ.
