FATD 1st FUTSAL tournament 2023 commenced at RIGA’s Astro turf, New Terogvunyu village on April 28.
Tseminyu, April 28 (MExN): Football Association Tseminyu District (FATD) organised its 1st FUTSAL tournament 2023 at RIGA’s Astro turf, New Terogvunyu village. The inaugural function of the two-day tournament was held on April 28.
The programme was chaired by Asao Seb, General Secretary, FATD. Introductory note was delivered by Shakelo Thong, Sr. Vice President, FATD and scope of Futsal was presented by Hinumo Thong, Joint Secretary, FATD. Thong in his message said that Football as a game has a good scope for profession and encouraged the players to take up the game with commitment, dedication and perseverance.
FATD anthem ‘March for Victory’ was tuned in the solemn presence of all the players and spectators following which dedicatory prayer and kick off was commenced by Athonglo Khing, Pastor TTBC & President CRBC. Altogether 19 teams registered for the tournament and the game will culminate on April 29.
