Minister for Soil & Water Conversation, Geology & Mining V. Kashiho Sangtam, while addressing the supporters and BJP party workers at the felicitation programme held in Seyochung Town said that his sole objective of entering politics was to “give voice to the voiceless, those who have been left out from rapid social and economic advancement.”
Thanking the 59th A/C electors for giving him the privilege to serve the people, Minister Kashiho called for the unceasing advice, help and co-operation. “There is no ruling or opposition. It is now the time to unite, keeping asides political difference since development can take place only when we work together as a team,” he stated.
Staying true to his election promise to enhance Village Guard (VG) remuneration, the Minister Informed the file is already in process for the same. Meanwhile, he urged the gathering “not to create any problem especially in relation to acquisition of land when it comes to development.” He maintained that people’s co-operation was paramount for any developmental activities.
Short speeches were also delivered by Hobbs Thonger, President BJP Kiphire, Kiheto Ex-Candidate and Keritong Sangtam, Secretary NDPP Nagaland.
