Aliba, January 20 (MExN): Representatives from the four Community Conserved Areas namely Aliba, Mangmetong, Kinunger and Chungtia village under Mokokchung district participated in two-day Community Conserved Area Management Plan Preparation workshop at Aliba village on January 19 and 20.
The management plan workshop was organised by Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) with an objective to assist these villages to develop a long term conservation plan for strengthening the management and governance of their community conserved areas.
During the two days long workshop through participatory process the broad components of the management plan was prepared using a framework developed jointly by Foundation for Ecological Security and Nagaland Empowerment of People through economic development (NEPED).
