FGN offers condolences

Kohima, December 20 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has expressed sorrow over the demise of Medo Vizo Angami, a senior NNC/FGN worker, and extended heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family members and relatives.  

An octogenarian, Medo passed away on December 18 after prolonged illness in Kohima Town, informed a condolence message from I Temjenba Lkr, Kedallo, FGN.  

It said that Late Medo served as Treasurer of Angami Regional Council (ARC) NNC and also as a member of Central Executive Council (CEC) and retired in 2015 only due to physical ailments,  

“Late Medo was a man of principle with integrity and truthfulness. He lived a wholesome life in the course of his earthly journey. As a youth he was a champion in sports who earned glory for his community, as bread earner he worked with sincerity and dedication in duty and as an elderly man he was determined and devoted all his ability to work for the cause and the right of Naga Nation,” the message read.  

“His demise is a great loss for the Naga Nation and Community, yet the exemplary life of Late Medo, who was never afraid to speak out the truth and the National right, his valuable deeds and sacrificial services rendered to the Nation shall always remain alive in annals of the Nation,” it added.  

The FGN prayed for solace of the bereaved family members and relatives.
