A match in progress during the first-ever ‘She Believes’ Super 7’s Women’s Tournament organised by The Ball Park Jalukie.

Jalukie, April 25 (MExN): The first-ever Super 7’s Champions League and ‘She Believes’ Super 7’s Women’s Tournament were held recently at The Ball Park Jalukie.
A total of 32 teams participated in the Men’s league, while 16 teams played in the Women’s tournament held from April 13-15.

As per a press release from event organiser, The Ball Park Jalukie, the Men’s league was won by Barak FC with Legend Lads Jalukie as the runners-up.
Victorious Secret Jalukie emerged as the champion of women’s tournament, while Bombiel Girls FC were placed second.

The ‘She Believes’ tournament was held side by side with the Men’s league to give the women’s game a platform and a wider audience, the release said.
It was conducted in partnership with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) Peren, an autonomous organisation under the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports with a primary focus on youth empowerment and skill development.
As per the release, The Ball Park is the only futsal organiser to officially host Women’s football tournaments in Nagaland, with primary focus in coaching and skill development.
This was the 2nd tournament that the Ball Park has hosted for women with free entry, apart from free training camps for girls in collaboration with Kingdom Stewards, it added.
