Kohima, September 18 (MExN): Oriental College Kohima (OCK) has added another feather to its cap by becoming the first college to have the Rover and Ranger (Adult/Senior Scouts) Unit in Nagaland. 20 students - 9 Rovers and 13 Rangers - swore their Scout Promises in a solemn Investiture Ceremony, a first of its kind in Nagaland, on September 17 at Oriental College in the presence of the college Principal, District Organiser (Scout), official from State Head Quarter, Bharat Scouts and Guides Nagaland, Guide Master from different schools, and their parents, informed a press release received here. The Rovers and Rangers will now be a part of the world Brotherhood and Sisterhood Scout movement, and have committed themselves to serve God, the people and the country with honour, the release stated. The Investiture or the formal admission ceremony was administered by Kekhrieselhou Theünuo, Rovers Scout Leader (AQM).
