KOHIMA, JULY 3 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan today informed that in view of the recent seizures of fish products laced with formalin in the market, the import of all fish and crustacean products and sale of the same has been banned with immediate effect in Kohima district. Violators will be prosecuted as per the relevant legal provision, the DC cautioned. He further directed the Administrator, KMC to take necessary steps to ensure strict compliance of the same.
