Fishing with battery operated apparatus in Nagaland

A young man fishing using a battery operated apparatus at a rivulet near Maova village at the outskirts of Medziphema, Dimapur on December 27. The fish are then sold at the market along the highway to Jalukie. Fishing with such battery operated apparatus has become a source of livelihood for many youth living in the area and on a good day, one can earn upto Rs 500-1500. (Morung Photo)
