Kohima, September 23 (MExN): The Anti-Vehicle Theft Squad (AVTS) of DEF Kohima has recovered five stolen Mahindra pick-up trucks bearing registration numbers NL03A2960, NL08A9254, NL03A0341, NL05G0552, and NL05G0553. According to a press release from SDPO (South)/PRO, Kohima Police, the pick-up truck bearing registration number NL03A2960 is confirmed to be stolen vide Assam, Guwahati City, Gorchuk Police Station FIR No. 0245/2014 and the original registration number of the vehicle is AS15C4225, vehicle bearing registration number NL08A9254 is confirmed to be stolen vide Assam, Bongaigaon, Abhayapuri Police Station FIR No. 0501/2014 and the original registration number is AS19C4649, while vehicle bearing registration NL03A0341 is confirmed to be stolen vide Assam, Karbi Anglong, Borpathar Police Station FIR No. 0069/2015 and the original registration number is AS05C3959. Further, the vehicle bearing registration number NL05G0552 is confirmed to be stolen vide Meghalaya, Ri-Bhoi, Nongpoh Police Station FIR No. 0063/2014 and the original registration number is ML10A9823, and vehicle bearing registration number NL05G0553 is confirmed to be stolen vide Assam, Sonitpur, Behali Police Station FIR No. 0099/2014 and the original registration number is AS12E8631. The details of the vehicles were known through NCRB database.
