Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): The Family Planning Association of India, Nagaland Branch in collaboration with Kohima District Health society under the Chief Medical Officer, Kohima conducted a roadside campaign on the theme: "Small Family, Overall Development”.
A press note issued by Dr L Talte, CMO, Kohima stated that as part of the campaign the state Branch of FPAI conducted a street play at the Old MLA Hostel Junction on July 20 and at PHQ junction on July 21.
The FPAI staged three plays on importance of ANC checkup, small family norms and male sterilization. The NHAK also conducted 31 sterilization where permanent method and temporary method were done. Temporary method of free services was also given in all the Sub-centres, PHC and CHC under the district.
