Free anti-rabies vaccination programme for pet and stray dogs were organized on January 12, 16 and 17at Ngangching, KVK Office and Sowa Changle Village respectively, by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Mon under National Innovations of Climate Resilient in Agriculture-Technology Demonstration components (NICRA-TDC). The aim was to make the public well informed about the importance of prevention of rabies, since rabies presents a serious threat to public health. The programme was led by Dr. Paihem Michui, ACTO (Animal Science) and assisted by Saurabh Sachan, Young Professional-II. All together 117 dogs were vaccinated. (Photo Courtesy/KVK Mon)
