Phek, August 10 (MExN): The sixth months free coaching classes for UPSC, NPSC and other competitive examinations, which started on February 17, 2025 at Phek town, successfully concluded on August 5 with study tour- cum- farewell programme at KVK Porba.

This initiative was jointly launched by Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU), Phek Police, and the District Administration.
Classes were conducted at CPO building, Phek town.

Eminent officials and educators who took classes, included Dr. Pritpal Kaur, , Superintendent of Police, Phek, Balong Phom, EAC Phek, Nengpichong, EAC Phek, Dr. Zhokusheyi Rhakho, Asst Prof ,Phek Government College, Vesudulo, Evaluation Department, Chivosheyi, GHSS Phek, Deepak and Kuzhovesa Soho.

Several distinguished personalities invited as guest speakers for one day special sessions, included  John Sangtam, Former Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Mezivolu T. Therieh, District & Sessions Judge Phek, Iqbal Singh Dhillon, Commandant, 39 Assam Rifles, Imnasenla, EAC Phek, Thepfüzakie Sanchu, EAC (Probationer) and Sezo, LDA, Phek Police.

The Women Welfare Society Phek led by Neichulou and her team along with Rev. Thepuchiyi Khusoh, pastor Phek Town Baptist Church conducted a prayer session for the students during one of the classes.

The final session was organised as a study tour cum farewell programme at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Porba, where the class was led by Sanjeev Kumar, Head of KVK, along with other domain experts.

Altogether, 54 students enrolled for this coaching programme.

Though regular classes have concluded, mock tests will continue for the benefit of the aspirants.

Classes were conducted in early morning hours from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM wherein the office works of faculty and employed students has not been disturbed.
