Free coaching classes for UPSC/NPSC aspirants in Mon

As circulated around in the social media and as informed to the public in the churches about the free UPSC/NPSC coaching classes for interested aspirants, the District Administrative Officers Mon conducted an orientation workshop in preparing for civil service examination at the DC's Conference Hall, Mon on January 19.  

The introduction about the class and number of post in the UPSC examination every year in India and the seats reserved for Northeast India was enlightened to the aspirants by SDO(C) Reny Wilfred, IAS. The Deputy Commissioner, Mon, K Thavaseelan, IAS presented the power point on the syllabus of UPSC, its subject under the three different course of exams and where to get about its materials.  

Assistant Commissioner Mon, Abhinav Shivam, IAS delivered an encouraging speech where he shared on how to switch the mindset from ‘we can't make it’ to ‘we can make it’ setting an example of how he himself cracked the exam.  

The free classes will be held every Friday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm and it will be conducted by the administrative officers themselves.  

As far as the UPSC/NPSC coaching classes is concerned, it is also learned that they are collaborating with Shankar IAS Academy (SIA) and the founder D. Shankar has graciously agreed to send 10 sets of their UPSC and other competitive exam study materials to the district completely free of cost.  

These 10 sets of UPSC materials from the Shankar IAS Academy will be in the office library which will be shortly opened opposite to the DC's chamber and any aspirant can come can come and read during any office hours but the materials will not be allowed to go out of the office since its limited in number, they said. A total number of 80-90 aspirants attended the first day of the class.
