Kohima, october 1 (MExN): A two day medical camp was held at Aghiliqa Ghathashi town on September 29 and at Mishilimi village on September 30 organized by Dr Sukhhato A. Sema, Retired Principal Director Health & Family Welfare and proprietor of the Faith Hospital Dimapur.
Speaking before the start of the medical camp, Dr. Sukhhato informed that he was deeply touched when he learnt about the suffering because of the lack of medical facilities, the distance from the District medical hospital and Lack of proper Transportation facilities.
He called upon the GB of the areas to cooperate with the district administration to avail the facility provided by the Government for the upliftment of the people specially in the field of health care system.
Dr. Sukhhato mentioned that though he had already retired from active service as a doctor by profession it is his duty to look and help the patients.
He thanked God for the good health and the blessing that God has bestow upon him and added that it is his time to help and serve the people in whatever capacity the people demand in future.
Around 700 patients who were suffering from various ailments were treated and were given free medicine at Aghiliqa Ghathashi town. Around 300 patients were also treated and free medicine were distributed at Mishilimi village too.
