Phek, May 11 (MExN): The Orchid Club in collaboration with Health and Wellness Management Committee (NHP) Mesulumi village organised a free health camp at Mesulumi village under Phek district on April 25.

According to a press release received on May 11, the camp was organised with the aim to spread wellness and awareness among the people, screen patients in the village, distribute medicines, and to treat or refer further for treatment as the case may be.

The release stated that consulting doctors and specialists including Dr Lhishelo Tsuhah, SMO of CHC Pfutsero; Dr Yelo T Mero, MO, PHC Chizami; Dr Kotso Kapfo, CHC Chozuba; Wele-u Khalo, Optometric Assistant, CHC Pfutsero; Wewe-u Khalo (Optometrist); Akole Duolo, CHO, Nurse and the staff of Health & Wellness Centre and village authorities extended their services treating the patients. Along with the distribution of medicines, optical instruments and goods worth approximately Rs 3 lakh were given out free of cost. Altogether, around 250 patients were screened and availed treatments.
