DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 2 (MExN): The Dimapur district administration has issued further restrictions on movement along the stretch from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to New Chümoukedima (Pakala Pahar Bridge) in view of the ongoing four lane project. In an order today, the Dimapur DC informed that all movement will also be restricted from 3:00pm to 3:30pm and from 4:30pm to 5:00pm to facilitate the use of explosive till September 15. This is in addition to the earlier 10:30pm to 5:00am restriction. “The restriction of movement is regretted, however, to avoid loss of life, property and other injuries this restriction has been imposed as a preventive measure,” the order stated. It meanwhile informed that alternative route from Dimapur-Kohima/Kohima-Dimapur for light vehicles only is available via 7th Mile - New DC office - Shokhuvi - Razaphe- Mhaikam - Pimla - Mhainamtsi - Jhornapani/Medziphema and vice versa.
