GBs called to be torch bearers of peace

After the formation of the Eastern Nagaland GBs Union (ENGBU), the office bearers held its first consultative meet with the Kiphire District GBs Union at the customary court, Kiphire on September 14. GBs from all the blocks under Kiphire district attended the meeting.  

Giving keynote address, president of ENGBU, Dr Thritongse asked the members present to be torch bearers of peace while calling upon the members present to maintain truth and integrity as leaders. He also highlighted the latest development of the frontier Nagaland issue and called upon the members to give maximum support as this is the right of the eastern people.  

Chuba Konyak, Executive chairmen, S. Mukum Jt. Secretary, Wanglang, Vice president and P. Shiam Khiam Joint secretary of the ENGBU who also spoke on the occasion called upon the members present to maintain peace in the district and the region.
