NSCN (K) under the visionary leadership of chairman S.S. Khaplang is the only institution which can bring about a final solution to the Indo-Naga-Burma political issue. Person like Kitovi and Khole must look at their feet. They must realize the fact that, they are yet to fit in the shoes of His Excellency S.S. Khaplang. They must know that, Khaplang was their mentor and people know them only because of him. In other words, both of them do not have any identity without Khaplang.
I am not surprised to see at the immature and communal statement coming from the Kehoi group. It is evidently clear that their write-ups are not directed against Khaplang but, it is more on appeasing their Indian masters by dividing the Nagas on the lines of the forced International boundary. Unfortunately, the leadership of Kitovi-Khole minus wisdom has come to fore today. Nagas irrespective of tribe, sub-tribe, or geographical area has, for more than half a century fought the Indian and the Burmese forces to ERASED the forced boundary on the Naga soil and restore the sanctity and sovereignty of the Nagas. Kitovi and Khole by talking of Burmese Naga or Indian Naga had directly accepted the presence of the International Boundary which the colonial power of Burma and India wanted to develop among the Nagas and create division. Naga people must realize that, it is because of the visionless leaders like kitovi and khole, the Naga people has to suffer this far.” Giving leadership to Khole and Kitovi is equally like giving a sword in the hands of a monkey.” As they rightly said, No authority on earth can force the Naga people to go against their will. The colonial power may impose anything on us or even draw a boundary dividing the Naga country but, they do not have the authority. The Naga people have every right to oppose and reject and revolt against such move by the colonial powers.
Secondly, How can a person by profession a criminal control the crime or think of the welfare of the people. Was it not Kitovi on November 19, 2003, in connivance with Khole the than army chief brutally killed Late. Kilonser Temjen Longkumer, in Konyak region, for his alleged role in provoking the local residents against Kitovi for his excesses in day to day affairs of the people. Later, his residence cum office at Mokokchung was set on fire. Out of fury, Late Temjen was summoned by Kitovi in his office at Tobu, under Mon district. On reaching Tobu he met Kitovi who in turn told him to go to C-in-C camp for further discussion but, he was eliminated before he could reach C-in C camp by the same escort party provided by Kitovi. Late Temjen was never allowed to say his side of the story. Was it not Kitovi who masterminded the Mokokchung Bank robbery of April 1994; when atleast 172 Lakhs cash was looted from the SBI branch Mokokchung, in which 4 (four) innocent Nagas also lose their job. Was it not Kitovi, who for his reluctant to move out from public place in mokokchung resulted in the indiscriminate firing from the Indian army on December 27, 1994, wherein many innocent lost their lives.
Is it not Kitovi who is neck deep into Nagaland state politics or the Indian electoral process, who also took 5 (five) crore from the state government in the recently concluded bypolls for the 26, Aolenden constituency under Mokokchung district. I fail to understand what point Kitovi and Khole wants to prove when both of them have failed in all fronts and all through their life except if not for one- two criminal activities. They have even failed to abide by the ethics of a revolutionary group. Therefore, they cannot be consider anymore an organisation serving for the cause of the people. Rather, they are not less than a trouble maker and helping in grooming criminals and criminal minded people in and around Dimapur. It is therefore, left to the general people to judge where we the Nagas have went wrong and how to get rid of it.
