PHESAMA, MAY 3 (MExN): The 2nd Inter School Football And Volleyball Tournament between GMS Aradhura Leirie Chazou, GMS New Ministers’ Hill, GMS Officers’ Hill & GMS Merhulietsa (GMS: N-O-M-A) was held at Phesama village football ground on May 3.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Shyerhunle Kent of GMS Aradhura. Vibeizou of GMS Merhulietsa invoked the Lord’s blessings, while the Head Teacher of GMS Officers’ Hill, Mimi Yhoshu delivered a short speech and declared the tournament open.
GMS Officers’ Hill emerged as the boy’s football champion after defeating GMS Merhulietsa by 3-2. In Girls Volleyball, GMS Officers’ Hill retained the trophy by defeating GMS Merhulietsa in the final match.
In the Prize distribution ceremony, Rieto Linus Chasie of GMS New Ministers’ Hill delivered the vote of thanks, while Kiviholi T Yeptho, Head Teacher of GMS Merhulietsa gave away the certificates to the winning teams.
