Goodwill car rally of SSI alumni association reaches Kohima

  Our Correspondent Kohima | December 28 A 25 member team of Sainik School Imphal Alumni Association (Adventure Club) arrived Kohima today as part of their “Goodwill Car Rally” to the seven North Eastern States.   The rally was flagged from Sainik School Imphal by the Principal of Sainik School Imphal, Captain (IN) Vinit Tiwari on December 18 last with an aim of rejuvenating the alumni of the institution from all the NE States and upholding the rich tradition of the school, stated Convenor of Goodwill Car Rally N Ibungochoubi.   He also said that the rally went through the states meeting the chapters of the respective state capitals and discussed wide range of issues to bring the younger generation together and collectively respond to the changing times in progressive manner.   He informed that the 25 member team travelled in 8 cars and after crossing through the state capitals of Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, the team reached Sainik School Punglwa and stayed overnight.   The rally from Sainik School Punglwa was flagged off by the Principal of the School, Group Captain Sharad R Kesar and Administrative Officer Lt. Col. M Kiran Meitei this morning.   On their return journey to Imphal, SSI Old Boys Association Nagaland Chapter hosted lunch for the team in the residence of its vice president Kikruselie Pienyü in Kitsubozou, Kohima.
