Governor interacts with Bharat Parikrama delegates

Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kohima is hosting the Youth Delegates of Bharat Parikrama from 15 states from January 31 to February 2 at Kisama.
A press note received here today issued by District Youth Coordiantor, NYK, John Makhabo stated that around 81 youth with four officials from the states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Utter Pradesh, Chattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, Kerala, Tamil Naidu, Orissa, Andra Pradesh, Mahasrahstra, Karnataka, Uttarandkand and Himachal Pradesh are participating in the programme.
It stated that the Governor of Nagaland, Nikhil Kumar interacted with the youth delegates at his official residence, Raj Bhavan, Kohima today, February 1. During interaction he stated that in a decade time India will be second world largest economy. He called upon the youths by stating that our future is in the very good hands of today’s youth and therefore, the youth should be responsible for reaching India to the top of the world.  The interaction programme was animated by S.R. Bishnoy, Dy. Director, NYKS who was the official team leader and briefed the governor about Parikrama team and outcome of the
programme.
The youth delegates have visited Guwahati, Shillong, Aizawl, Imphal, and Kohima and they will be returning to Guwahati from Kohima and thereof to their respective places. At their hold places they had interacted with dignitaries like Governors, Chief Ministers, Youth Affairs Ministers, Social workers, intellectuals, academicians, Historians, Sports Personalities, youth club leaders etc and also visited places of historical, religious and tourist importance. The programme is organized with the objectives to shun out social and cultural differences and to promote the message of peace and progress in the region, the note said.
