Governor RN Ravi visits NEZCC

Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, R N Ravi who is also the Chairman of North East Zone Cultural Centre, (NEZCC) visited the Centre on September 5, “to acquaint himself with the functioning and activities of NEZCC,” informed a DIPR report.

Ravi while appreciating the “appealing culture” of the North East mentioned that diversity of the region is something to be proud of. “Behind diversity there is a strong unity,” he said.

The new Chairman of NEZCC also met the Director and employees of the center and expressed his desire to learn more about the NEZCC, which concerns the Art and Culture of the region. Ravi also visited the museum and admired the different artifacts displayed in the museum Hall. 

Meanwhile, the Director NEZCC, Jitul Sonowal assured to fulfill the goals and objectives of the center by continually promoting the traditional art and culture of the Region under the leadership and guidance of the new Chairman, the report said.
