Mon, February 2 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya visited the Assam Rifles troops in the remote location of Wangti in Mon district on February 1. Acharya also visited Assam Rifles post and interacted with the soldiers deployed in the Eastern frontiers, informed a press release received here. He appreciated the work being done by the Assam Rifles troops in safeguarding the borders and maintaining harmony in the region while also executing welfare projects for the local populace across the state, it said. Acharya, according to the press release, exhorted the Assam Rifles troops to keep up the good work and left an encouraging note to boost their morale.
