Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has mourned the untimely demise of its Dy Kilonser, Atovi K Chophi of Asukhomi village, Sumi Region on September 25.
Since his joining on August 25, 1998, late Atovi served in various capacities and displayed unwavering competency and sincerity in all the responsibilities assigned upon him throughout his 23 years of national service, stated the MIP, GPRN/NSCN in a condolence note.
Besides being a dedicated and efficient patriot, he was also a man of patience and humility, it said, adding that the GPRN/NSCN is “proud to have a man of such integrity and therefore convey respect and honor in his passing away.”
Late Atovi demise is a great loss for GPRN/NSCN which has created a void difficult to be filled. However, memory of his admirable and persistent dedication throughout his service shall ever be cherished and treasured, it said.
The GPRN/NSCN also conveyed deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed the Almighty to grant solace and comfort them. It further wished the departed Kilonser a rest in eternal peace.
