GPRN/NSCN release NSCN (K) APO official

Dimapur, March 27 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN today informed that they have unconditionally released Hokato, APO of NSCN (K), who was “arrested” from Zunheboto BOC at around 3:00pm on February 11, and was under their custody for two days. According to a press release from Col. Yekuto Zhimo, the Camp Commander, Ghukiye Designated Camp of the GPRN/NSCN, despite the killing of one of their cadre on February 11 while undergoing medical treatment, they had after “thorough deliberation” decided to unconditionally release the APO of NSCN (K) “in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and as well on humanitarian ground.” 

The GPRN/NSCN stated that “No interrogation, torture or any financial imposition or physical manhandling was meted upon him (APO Hokato). In fact, no action shall be taken against him even if he continues his service.” It further informed that “on plea and requisition from the following Organisations, & Associations, Sumi Hoho, Sumi Kukami Hoho, Zunheboto District GB’s Association, Sumi Totimi Hoho, Zunheboto Town & GB Thazumi,” the camp commander in the presence of the organizations/association representatives, unconditionally released Hokato.
