The GPRN/NSCN is very amused to the claims made by NSCN (K) on the incident near Zhekiye village, some few miles away from Ghukiye Designated Camp who termed it as “attack on NSCN (K)” rather on the contrary; the act of the GPRN/NSCN can be termed as an “Attack on a group of highway robbers”.
The happy trigger Gangsters attacked The Ghukiye Designated Camp on 12th June 2012 at 10:30pm and fled towards Suko area where they committed highway robbery and terrorised the public en-route Kohima-Zunheboto highway in the adjoining area near the Ghukiye Designated Camp.
Since the Suruhuto Camp is located far north of Zunheboto, adjoining Mokokchung District. The GPRN/NSCN never expected the NSCN (K) cadres to be around its Designated Camp Ghukiye, Situated south of Zunheboto, towards Kohima. The GPRN/NSCN slams the K Boys for their misadventure around the Designated Camp so as to provoke the patience of the GPRN/NSCN
The NSCN(K) claims as to “ heeding to the demand of public” which is in contrast to their very action committed upon the peace loving Citizens, which the GPRN/NSCN brushed it aside terming it as “Phony” The misguided youths are strayed all over the Public places brandishing their weapons openly to create fear psychosis among the Zunheboto populace is an act of betrayal to people who yearns for peace and also a defilement to the Ceasefire Ground Rules asking Cadres to be confined in Designated Camps.
The GPRN/NSCN wonders as to how many times will the frustrated K boys carry on the abortive attack on Ghukiye Designated Camp, who has lately attacked three times though failing miserably, first on 22nd Dec.2011, 30th Jan 2012, and on 12 June 2012. Even when the GPRN/NSCN cadre’s were having prayer fellowship they attacked and in the shootout killed one innocent civilian youth on 29th May 2012, whose life was cut short, not by a stray bullet, but fell victim to the deliberate shot by the bloodthirsty hunters. Enough is enough, The NSCN (K) has crossed all limits. The GPRN/NSCN while still respecting the People’s “Call for Peace” can no longer tolerate or allow the perpetrators to enter the rooms and kitchens to flex their infamous muscles upon the innocent Public, and shall stand tooth and nail to thwart any eventualities initiated by the predators, in the guise of “National Workers” and continue to harass the innocent people.
The GPRN/NSCN condemns the killings of unarmed civilians in the strongest term. One GPRN/NSCN regional worker Mr. Nikheto Kiba was abducted in front of his pleading helpless wife from his residence at Asukhomi village at around 8 am, blindfolded with hands and legs tied, inhumanely tortured and cold-bloodedly murdered by one Capt. Akito of Achikuchu village, and his hoards of hooligans
Later in the afternoon one dedicated National worker Mr Ikishe Sumi was killed while he was working in the field, who has given his all for the “Common Cause” and has contributed selflessly, with sincerity and dedication since the time of NNC up to this day till he fell prey to blood thirsty Mercenaries.
The demise of Late Ikishe Sumi and Late Nikheto Kiba is a great lost to entire national groups, the vacuum created by the righteous souls will be difficult to fill in. The GPRN/NSCN maintains that killing of unarmed civilians has nothing to boast of nor an act of Heroism, rather it is an act of Cowardice, venting its frustrations upon the unfortunate unarmed Civil Workers. The modern civilized world also considers such group or organisation as ‘Terrorists’.
The GPRN/NSCN deeply mourns for the slain members and also extends our sorrow and solidarity to the bereaved families. We pray that the Almighty comforts and bestows solace upon them in their time of grief.
In order to “Give Peace a Chance” the GPRN/NSCN advises the K’ Mafias to go back to their Myanmar territory and honour the appeals made by various sections of civil societies and NGO’s for maintaining peace among Naga brothers & sisters.
Lastly the GPRN/NSCN appeals to the Nagas to note and to ponder as to “Who is in the offensive at all times, provoking the very patience of GPRN/NSCN to the Zenith, Instead of peacefully confining in their own respective designated camps”
