GPS Anaki Phom upgraded to Government Middle School

Longleng, April 7 (MExN): SDEO, Longleng Temsusenla Jamir declared up-gradation of GPS Anaki Phom into a full-fledged Government Middle School on April 5, 2016.   While speaking on the occasion she said that the school is one of the best functioning schools under her jurisdiction. She appreciated the school authority for keeping the school building and it’s surrounding neat and clean and also for under-taking extra-initiative like excursion programme and other co-curricular activities etc. She also encouraged the teachers to give their best for the all-round development of the children. She said that the school should come under composite school category.

  The President, Phom People’s Council H. Leisha and Asst. District Co-Ordinator, DMA, Longleng Henty Phom also spoke on the occasion. The programme was chaired by C. Pautang Phom Teacher, Pastor S.Kanlong pronounced invocation, Teacher incharge O. Baukam and VEC Chairman T. Ongvai delivered welcome address and vote of thanks respectively, and school children presented special song. Gaonbora M. Pongshen also spoke on the occasion.
