Greenwood School, Kuda Village, held its annual science exhibition 2019 at the school auditorium on Saturday with chief medical officer, Dimapur, Dr. K Vikato Kinimi, as the chief guest of the event.


Addressing the young minds, the chief guest said some of the qualities needed to become successful in life are hard work, humbleness, patience, loving heart and truthfulness. Dr. Kinimi said the most important thing for students is to study hard, pray hard, be humble and listen to their heart.


He said a person with ego distances himself from God and other fellow beings and becomes a failure in life, but a person who is humble comes nearer to God and fellow beings is blessed and ultimately succeeds in life.


The CMO also said the world has undergone a sea change with advancement in science and technology and career options and opportunities too have multiplied for students to choose from.


Principal, Greenwood School, Nilie Kath, conveyed words of appreciation. Earlier, coordinator, science exhibition, MC Das, delivered welcome address and students also shared their experiences with science.


A total of 424 students from primary to higher secondary sections took part in the science exhibition, which witnessed 49 science models and projects. For the first time, the exhibition also witnessed eight mathematic stalls.
