Nagaland's Taxes dept launches GST Dolphins

Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The department of Taxes, Nagaland has launched GST Dolphins on September 27 to pro-actively reach out to all the valued taxpayers in the state and educate, assist and empower them to discharge their tax obligations in time and to enable them to carry on their businesses hassle-free at the safe comfort of their offices.  

The state Commissioner of Taxes in a press release said that the GST Dolphins will be visiting the traders/taxpayers at their place of business to educate and assist the taxpayers in matters of tax compliance.  

The main objective of this initiative is to make sure that not a single trader or taxpayers in the state is left untouched or unprepared by Taxes department to conduct better business and be more GST compliant.  

Taxpayers are encouraged to raise queries on any of the provisions of the GST Act and Rules. The GST Dolphins will try to answer the queries on the spot, or will come back with appropriate answers at the earliest possible time.  

The entire exercise will be closely monitored on a daily basis to ensure that all the taxpayers are covered under this initiative.  

All valued taxpayers in the state are informed about this new initiative and are requested to make themselves ready to avail all GST related services from the GST Dolphins.
