Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): A 10-day exhibition of handicraft and handloom at Super Market, Dimapur was inaugurated by Joyee Sen, Deputy General Manager, NIDC Ltd on October 4.
30 Artisans are participating in the exhibition being organised by NWVTI Handicraft and Handloom Producer Pvt. Ltd. Dimapur and sponsored by Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It will conclude on October 13.
Temjenlemla Jamir, Director, NWVTI, in a press release stated that the exhibition is running successfully attracting visitors everyday and more visitors are excepted.
She also stated that this exhibition is a platform for the artisans to display their products and appreciated the sponsoring department.
T Rollee Vareishim, Sr Assistant, Director, HSC, Kohima, Nagaland visited the exhibition on 06.10.2021 and stated that he was impressed with the products displayed by the artisans and boosted the participants that more exhibition will be organised, the director added.
