In view of the surge in COVID-19 cases in the state, the Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench has informed that the New Guest House at the Registrar’s Bungalow located in New Ministers’ Hill, Kohima has been temporarily converted into an Isolation Centre for COVID positive cases.
A notification passed by the Gauhati High Court Kohima Bench, Registrar, Neiko Akami earlier this week, said that the Isolation Centre would be facilitating mild and asymptomatic COVID-19 cases. The order also said that the measures have been taken keeping in mind, “the benefit of Judges, their family members, officers and staff of the High Court Registry.”
As such, the centre facilities will be taken fully in charge by Court Officer or Assistant Protocol Officer for overall functioning, the order further stated.
