Health workers trained on Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign

Peren, July 24 (MExN): A sensitization cum training on Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign for ANMs, pharmacists, Anganwadi workers and Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) was held in Peren and Tening blocks on July 18 and 20 respectively.  

In Peren, the programme was held at District Hospital, where Dr Anung, Medical Officer, PHC Poilwa highlighted the roles and responsibilities of the health workers and Anganwadi workers. She requested the members present to be sincere and coordinate for the success of the campaign, stating they are the main workforce for the campaign, informed a press release from Pezanguno Celine Secü, District Media Officer, CMO office, Peren.  

The programme for Tening block was held at PHC Tening. Dr Chamzai, Medical Officer, PHC Tening and Menuleho Toso, BPM Tening inducted the training. Dr Chamzai highlighted the importance of their roles and importance of intensive awareness at the grassroot level to reach out every child in the block. The training also included how to fill the formats to be followed during the campaign.
