KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 21 (DIPR): State level meeting of all Head of Departments along with the nodal officers (HIV/AIDS) will be held on September 24 at 10:30 am at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. Additional Chief Secretary, Nagaland, Lalthara will grace the function as the chief guest.
Taking serious note of the alarming epidemic of HIV/AIDS in the state, which requires multi-sectoral response to stop and reverse the spreading infection, resource personnel from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Bill and Belinda Gates Foundation (B&BGF) have been invited to address the issues.
In the inaugural session, Additional Chief Secretary Nagaland, Lalthara, IAS will dwell on Nagaland response on mainstreaming, while Programme Officer (UNDP) Annuridha Bramachari will highlight on UN Joint Project. Deputy Director, EAP (B&BGF) and Project Director NSACS, Dr. Neiphi Kire will also speak during the inaugural function.
Commissioner and Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Menukhol John will present the opening remarks while Director Family Welfare, Dr. Kumini Kathipri will propose the vote of thanks.
