The much hyped international band from UK – ‘Higher On Maiden’ endorsed by ‘Iron Maiden’ kickstarted their North-East tour started on December 13 on a high note in Ukhrul to a crowd more than the expected capacity of ten thousand. This is the first international band to hit the town and the people were left asking for more of the Iron-Maiden numbers yet not ready to leave the venue even after 10past. The tour is a part of ‘7 Sister’s Rock fest sponsored by Sky Group. The band will later travel to Imphal to headline on December 15 which is expected to hit even higher numbers and finally to Dimapur the day after. The band will stop over for a few minutes on the way at the Kohima War Cemetery to pay tribute to their comrades. The band is much in anticipation and excited to play in front of Dimapur crowd!
