Mangkolemba, September 16 (MExN): Hill Theatre conducted a 20 days production oriented workshop organized and sponsored by NEZCC at Mangkolemba. The production culminated with a play based on the folk legend Jina and Etiben. The performance was staged in an open air space invoking the old age oral tradition with contemporary design elements. The show was graced by ADC Wapang Ao and supportive people of Mangkolemba. The workshop was based on the theme of love as a reflection on today’s human social image. It was devised to evolve a theatrical form and to preserve our tradition through the performance. The workshop was adapted and directed by Bendang Walling with Temjen Kechu as the creative director and assisted by Kilang Imsong and Limanungdang as the property designer.
