Hornbill Festival 2022: Naga Thali Challenge on December 3

Dimapur, November 22 (MExN): As part of the Hornbill Festival 2022, the 1st ever ‘Naga Thali Challenge’ eating competition on December 3. It is being organised by Native Trax Society (NTS) in collaboration with NBDA and Department of Tourism, Nagaland and supported by Techno Music India, Modern Myriad Branding, Hills FM, Red Box HS, Loreni Wardrobe and Cinescope.

With the theme ‘Dangerously Delicious,’ the eating competition is being held to promote and put the spotlight on the unique Naga cuisine to help boost tourism and present Nagaland as a unique destination. This event will pit champion eaters against one another in their bid to finish a huge ethnic Naga meal consisting of generous helpings of rice, meat, King Chilli etc in the fastest possible time. 

Native Trax Society has invited “food lovers and those with big appetites to come and take part in this challenge.”

The event will start at 1:00 pm at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, 6th Mile, Sovima, Chümoukedima.
