Dimapur, February 7 (MExN): More than 255 families were displaced after a fire broke out today at Naharbari, Dimapur as many houses were razed to ashes. It has been informed that the fire started at around 6:30 am from a house while cooking. Goods worth more than a lakh were destroyed and 16 shops were also gutted by the fire. Nagaland Fire Brigade and Assam Rifles assisted in bringing down the fire and preventing from spreading further. No causalities have been reported.
