Kohima, November 28 (MExN): The officials of Minister’s team of Higher & Technical Education (HTE) and Tribal Affairs, Nagaland Kohima visited Sao Chang College, Tuensang on November 28 to get first hand information on the various problems, requirements and achievements of the College. The visiting team members included Medongoi Rhakho, Deputy Director Higher Education Kohima, Akum O Tzudir, Personal OSD to Minister and Lamsong, PA to Minister.
As per a press release from the College, they were also accompanied by District BJP party officials. The minister’s team had a long meeting with the teaching faculty and deliberated on the college developmental activities including the on-going preparatory process for NAAC assessment. During the meeting, the visiting officials expressed appreciation for the various academic and co-curricular activities undertaken by the teachers with utmost sincerity and dedication. They also visited the RUSA project poly houses including the Naga king chilly cultivation in the college as part of the vocationalization of higher education. They encouraged the teaching faculty to remain updated with the latest knowledge and skills to improve the quality of teaching profession. They further assured to convey all grievances and requirements expressed by the college to the Minister for necessary improvement of the college.
