Dimapur: Bhola Nath Sharma, Inspector General, Border Security Force (BSF), Mizoram & Cachar visited 111 BN BSF Satakha to review the security situation on February 14, 2014. He was accompanied by Satish Budakoti, Dy Inspector General, BSF, Mizoram & Cachar, a press release informed.
On his arrival, he met the ex RGN. He appreciated the contribution made by them in shaping the unit. BN Sharma also met Zuheto, wife of late K Zuheto Swu, KC, PPM, VSM, GSM ex DIG BSF along with Satish Budakoti and Y M Upadhyay, Commandant, 111 BN BSF.
BN Sharma also visited CI Post Kilomi and reviewed the Ops scenario. He also held meeting with few retired Security Forces personnel and gave a patient hearing to their problems and assured them of all possible help. Satish Budakoti, Dy Inspector General, BSF expressed that IG appreciated the duties done by the BSF in Satakha. The BSF help the local population by doing civic action programme and providing medical aid and other facilities, the note stated.
The release further mentioned that after passing out from BSF Academy Tekanpur, BN Sharma joined Triple One BN BSF as an Assistant Commandant. He served in 111 BN Satakha for three years from 1978-1981.
