Dimapur, January 20 (MExN): IIHT Dimapur organized the annual job fair under the theme ‘Job for all’ on January 19 and 20 at IIHT Dhobinala, Dimapur.
During the fair, a total of 150 plus job opportunities were made available from more than 20 vendors of different sector in the field of Marketing, Real Estate Marketing, Hardware and Networking, Accountant, Professor, Civil Engineer, Retail Executive Sales Manager, Banking.
More than 250 candidates attended the job fair. The fair was designed to help unemployed youths in exploring job market prospects and to secure employment. It also provided recruiters with opportunities to hire fresh candidates with degrees and the employers also benefitted by having new additions to their teams.
Kaushik Deb, Centre Director, IIHT Dimapur in a press release stated that employment is the main focus for any society because just to give the best education or training to the students is not enough. The system has to provide platform to the students to implement and explore their skill in professional field. “In our desire to help the unemployed students in this aspect, IIHT have organized Job Fair. Job Fair is a recruitment activity for job seekers, companies and recruiters. The activity is conducted to assess job seekers in finding a suitable job and recruiters to gain more employees for their company,” Deb added.
