Kohima, February 13 (MExN): Minister for home Imkong L. Imchen will grace the first Sekrenyi -cum- cultural celebration under the aegis of Tenyimi Students’ Union, Mokokchung (TSUM) on February 26 at Mokokchung Town Hall under the theme “Our Culture, Our Identity.” The programme will start from 10:30 am onwards. Kedoroko Casavi will chair the function while presidential address will be delivered by Heutwalung James Hau. Greetings will be shared by Tol Pucho while Kesonyu Yhome, IAS, SDO (C) Mokokchung will exhort the gathering.
Folk song by NU, Lumami, folk dance by CTC Mokokchung, cultural piece by Pezetgumbe D. Newme, vote of thanks by Atuno Zinyu will also marked the morning session. The second session, starting at 1:30 pm, will be marked by folk song, folk dance, exhortation by Dr.Neizo Puro, Assistant professor Nagaland University, couple show etc.
All the bonafide Tenyimi members residing in and around Mokokchung district have been requested to attend the programme. The members have been asked to wear traditional attire during the function. Transportation will be provided to the units- NU, CTC and ICIT. The programme will conclude with Sekrenyi feast.
