Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): The State Level Inspection Committee under Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) is presently conducting an inspection of all the registered Child Care Institutes (CCIs), Open Shelter/ Shelter homes, Observation homes, Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA) in Dimapur district.
The inspection is headed by Dellirose M Sakhrie, Secretary Social Welfare Director Social Welfare along with District Child Protection Officer, District Project Officer and District Officials of the Social Welfare Department. This is being taken up as the first phase and similar inspections will be carried out in other districts in the state.
The purpose of this inspection is to ensure proper functioning of all homes run by the Government/NGOs, and ascertain adherence to the guidelines of the ICPS in the state under the Juvenile Justice Act of 2011.
