A Regional Level Social Science Exhibition cum National Integration Camp was organized at Kendriya Vidyalaya Dimapur, Project Sewak from October 8-9.
Altogether 13 schools from four clusters under Tinsukia region participated during the two-day programme. Various competitions including group dance, solo classical dance, solo song, debates, elocution, paintings, skit, quiz etc were held during the event.
Deputy Commissioner, KVS, RD, Tinsukia Region, S.K. Chopdar who was the chief guest on Monday exhorted the students to work hard with determination whether in the academic field or co-curricular activities.
Participating in co-curricular activities and winning the hearts of the audience in was more important than winning, he added. Chopdar also encouraged them to prepare themselves well for the national meet to be held in Delhi.
