Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): Inter-College Basketball Tournament (Men & Women) slated to be held from May 8-11 has been re-scheduled. The tournament is rescheduled to June 14-16, 2023. It will be held at JV Rise Foundation Basketball Court, Signal Angami, Dimapur.
“The tournament is being rescheduled after DDBA received requests by many colleges asking for postponement due to exams,” Sentiningsang Longkumer, Secretary, Dimapur District Basketball Association stated in a press release.
The tournament is organised by Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA). It is open to all colleges under Nagaland University and Nagaland-based autonomous universities.
The cash prizes (men & women) are: Winner - Rs 40,000; Runner-up - Rs 25,000; Joint 3rd Place- Rs. 10,000 each; MVP- Rs. 3,000 each.
