An inter schools extempore competition to commemorate the ‘freedom open defecation week’ was organised by the PHED Kiphire division in collaboration with North East Initiative Agency (NEIDA) at DC Conference hall on August 14.
Altogether 53 students participated where Kunyangla of Agape School, Apongba of Cambridge School and Yuzena of Good Shepherd School were adjusted first, second and third respectively. Shantial of Loyola School also won consultation prize.
SDEO Kiphire, Jambeni Kikon while giving away the prizes congratulated the students for taking part in the programme confidently. While facilitation the programme, Pipenthung Lotha of NEIDA appreciated the school authority for prompt response and sending the students to take part in the competition.
Judges of the competition were Janbeni Kikon SDEO, Tsusen Imchen Superintended, Child observation home, Issac Tsalumpi KASU president and Sashinaro PHED consultant.
