Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): To highlight the importance of self reliance and to inculcate the spirit of business and entrepreneurship among the Nagas, an educative and interactive talk organised by the Showuba Village Council (SBC) will be held at the Showuba Baptist Church, Dimapur on October 3 at 9:00 am. The talk titled ‘A path to self reliance’ will have Neichute Doulo, CEO Entrepreneur Associates as the main speaker.
The other objectives of the programme will be to encourage Naga people, especially the educated unemployed youths to take up farming and other agri and horti related activities as a business venture and to build a synergy between local entrepreneurs to motivate and promote each other.
A press release stated here that the issue of large scale influx of IBIs into Nagaland, especially Dimapur and the danger that such infiltration pose to the existence of the Naga society itself is expected to feature prominently in the interactive session.
