International Kids Film Festival in Wokha on Nov 30

Wokha, November 28 (MExN): DICE Foundation and Team Metamorphosis, a non-profit organization along with Bedi Pachao & Bedi Padhao under District Administration, Wokha will host the first-ever International Kids Film Festival (IKFF) in Wokha, in collaboration with LXL on November 30 at Town Hall, Wokha.

The International Kids Film Festival, conceived by LXL Ideas, an education consultant based in Bangalore, India is the world's largest children's film festival that aims to bring inspiring, meaningful and globally diverse cinema to school students across the world.

The Festival will allow kids to experience the magic of cinema where thousands of schools across multiple countries will be able to simultaneously host IKFF from November- December, a press release from M James Tungoe, President, Team Metamorphosis stated.

In its second edition in 2018, IKFF travelled to 4000 schools which had reached 2 million children across the world from India to Tanzania, Pakistan to France, Kazakhstan to Qatar and from Nepal to Jordan. This year, IKKF targets to cover 40 countries, 3 million students, by travelling 9000 schools with 100 international movies.

However, stating that the festival would be impossible without the schools being cooperative, the organizers have requested all the schools to send at least 100 students from class 3 to class 12 to participate in this opportunity for students to watch the best of world cinema. For more details  or any queries on the Film Festival, one may contact the organizing committee: 9206108727, 9863342084, 9774303927.
