Noklak, March 2 (MExN): The Indian Red Cross Society Noklak Sub-Division Branch conducted a free health camp at Old Chiengmei village (under Chingmei Range) on February 27 which was sponsored by IRCS Noklak Sub-Division Branch in collaboration with Community Health Centre (CHC) Noklak.
All together 252 patients were treated and free medicine were distributed. The IRCS Noklak Sub-division Branch acknowledged P Longon, Minister,and the Principal Director, Department of Health and Family Welfare for donating free medicines.
The meeting was chaired by W.Lachu Lam Hony, Secretary while short speeches were delivered by Mathung Tsanglao, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chairman IRCS Noklak Sub division Branch while the welcome address was pronounced by the Village Council Chairman of Old Chingmei.
The team also thanked Dr. Victor N. Lam, SMO and Dr. Imti Mongba Kichu, MO and their teams for taking all the pain in treating the patients. IRCS Life members Noklak contributed their free service for the Free Health Camp.
